I certainly expected more from this 'so-called' manor. My room was bright enough to land a plane—thanks to the hall light. Not to mention, The Bell was a complete disaster. filthy tables and evidently understaffed. A complimentary therapy session for my nerves should have been included. I almost reviewed it positively, but just couldn’t.

I had an old, outdated unit that smelled musty and was far from the pool area. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, which made for a rough night's sleep, and the bathroom had a broken shower gel holder, forcing me to deal with spilled gel on the floor. the in-house restaurant's service was glacially slow, and the food was disappointing, which took away from the atmosphere.

This place was a top selection for a flash visit in Knysna with value for money. The staff were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Try to explore the lovely garden areas for a relaxing afternoon.

Jeffrey, the super waiter, provided outstanding service throughout my visit, always ensuring I had what I needed. the breakfast options could use a bit more variety to enhance the overall experience.
